Dedicated servers are usually setup within 24 hours, however this is dependent on availability. A server may be ready in as little as 1 hour, or as long as 72 hours if there has been an increase in deployments.

The billing cycle will not begin until your server is deployed, and we may compensate you for any delays. You may contact us to enquire about the setup time of a server on during a specific week.

We accept payments made via PayPal as well as credit and debit cards through PayPal which include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, EnRoute and many more.

We do not accept any other payment methods at this time.

Customers purchasing dedicated servers are not bound by contracts, and we will not force you into any contract. However, services are leased on a monthly basis and are subject to the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy which you must legally abide.

Customers willing to participate in a legally binding contract with RackCrate may benefit from lower pricing and added benefits. For more information about available discounts for long-term commitments, please contact our sales team.

We provide discounts for customers who are willing to undertake long-term commitments, whereby you pay quarterly, semi-annually, annually or bi-annually for services provided by RackCrate. Customers interested in long-term commitments can contact our sales team for details.

Please understand that monthly prices are not negotiable, and are already at the lowest possible price (based on the funds required to provide the service).

Customers purchasing two or more dedicated servers may apply for the RackCrate Partner Program, where the customer receives discounts and complimentary gifts based on the volume of services the customer has with RackcRate.

All dedicated servers are unmanaged. This means that the customer is responsible for managing, configuring and troubleshooting their own software, server configuration and upgrading their system. Our support team only provides support for hardware and networking issues that the customer is unable to resolve as a result of being restricted to only SSH access.

Many of our less technical customers hire a third party system administrator from websites such as UpWork.com or Freelancer.com and have them assist with administering software aspects of the server for setup, configurations, backup, moving scripts, and troubleshooting.

Our system monitors bandwidth to ensure that the customer does not exceed their limit (if any), however this is not publicly visible to customers at this time. If you would like to monitor your bandwidth, we recommend using third-party software such as vnStat as a lite and easy to use network monitoring system. We do not install customers hardware in dedicated servers, as the server would no longer be bound by our SLA or hardware replacement policies. A full range of hardware upgrades are available with monthly pricing for every server.

If you would like to utilize and control your own hardware we recommend our Colocation Hosting service.

Adult content is allowed as long as it does not violate our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Federal/State/Local law.

Only certain dedicated servers come with DDoS protection. Servers with DDoS protection will have a selectable dropdown on the order page.

DDoS protection is available with colocation, for an additional fee.

From the very first day and throughout your hosting service subscription, your dedicated servers benefit from 24/7 hardware maintenance, which includes automatic replacement of any defective components for life, free of charge.

Customers using colocation manage their own hardware.
